I’ve also added some larger rondelle beads at the bottom and at the top of the Christmas trees. These adorable earrings are made with a spiralled gold-plated/silver-plated copper wire and lovely and sparkly rondelle beads in Christmassy colours. Do be gentle though as these are still made of wire and they can be bent out of shape. In addition to them being a festive accessory, they have an additional function – the beads move around and they can be great for those of us who can’t stop fidgeting. In that case, you can trim the hole open with small scissors or you can use a hole punch to finish punching the hole. If you use the pre-cut hole version, be aware that the hole may not always cut all the way through every time. In the design files for this project, you’ll see there are two sets of teardrop earring shapes – one with pre-cut holes, and one without.
